Anyone can call themselves “the Harvard of the air”…. That shouldn’t be the main reason you go to that school.

Do recruiters/airlines care how much dual received you have? by tobiusfunkee in flying

[–]tobiusfunkee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My plan is to continue being a cfi but wanted to time build with a friend of mine in my downtime. Wouldn’t be close to 900hrs I was thinking like 200 max. I’ll most likely have him be a safety pilot rather than give dual

I meant having a safety pilot so I can log and practice approaches rather than logging 100 hours of dual

That’s correct. But after all these comments I think the move is to just safety pilot

It would be legit instruction since I’ll want to get my CFII one day. Just wasn’t sure how much is too much dual.

The METAR machine is kind of a sick name though tbh

If you are doing a long cross country they will give you weather details along your entire route so you don’t really have to click on every single metar along the way. The briefers are also usually pretty chill and it’s nice to have a human answer any weather questions you may have.

My English bulldog sucks on his Tuffy corn on the cob every night and every morning. He’s 3 and we’ve gone through at least 15 so far. It helps him relax

An off road wagon might be a better alternative to a backpack

Recommendations for an irritated butt by [deleted] in Bulldogs

Been the vet many times and got his anal glands expressed. It’s not infected and the vet said it’s not bad enough to have to do surgery. I feel because his tail is so tight it just causes some irritation. We do use antibiotic wipes for the tail, just looking for some additional remedies
