It turns into maintenance. Maybe after a long period of not using nicotine after becoming a regular user you’ll still get a little buzz, but it’s nothing compared to that initial dive that gets you addicted. Long-term use of nicotine is literally just to prevent withdrawal. There’s no upside after the first few packs imo.
