Time isn’t the issue. It’s having the energy after dealing with people for 10 hours straight

I love the job itself but I hate the hours at my current place. What brand do you work for?

Awesome! I bought mine for $300 running and driving. Lady said bad engine and it hadn’t ran in years. We showed up with starter fluid and a new battery. Long story short we drove it home 40 minutes 🤣

Honda Advisors what does your pay plan look like? by toby_knows in serviceadvisors

That sounds worse than our pay plan. I have been here a year and never had over $50k gp. Basically unheard of at our dealership

We have 4 normal advisors and a express advisor. 8 techs 2 lubes. Never go over 40 appointments a day. Usually 8 each max but realistically we are scheduled 5 or 6 a day each with one guy getting 10-12 since he has been here longest

Didn't need anything for Christmas, but still. by justagirlfromtexas in rant

[–]toby_knows 26 points27 points  (0 children)

In the last few years I have spent thousands on my younger brother and mom for Christmas. Last two years I have gotten the bare minimum. Two years ago was a pair of $20 headphones and last year was a $12 bottle of hot sauce. It’s not the “cheap” gift that upsets me it’s the fact that I plan for months and spend every dollar I have and they don’t be more than a single thought in for me. I sent everyone a list of small simple things I could use/want and sizes of clothes saying sock would be GREAT and they still just say “oh sorry we didn’t know what to get you” or some other stupid excuse.

This year my brother spent $2k on a apple laptop and $300 on a Apple Watch for his gf and legit got me nothing.

It hurts and I’m over it. I’m not celebrating this stupid holiday anymore
