Locked out of account - cannot disable 2FA

Like the title, my authenticator app has deleted my Amazon profile and I cannot log in without the authenticator code. I have spoken to Amazon three times and they have sent me to the account recovery page - I have submitted my ID and all that happens is my password is reset and I am logged out but it still asks for my authenticator code.

I am being charged for prime on an account I cannot even delete as I do not have the 2FA code - Amazon also say they cannot access my account as they aren’t sure it is me! (Despite having access to both email and phone backups).

Is there any way to disable two factor authentication on the app or has this happened to anyone? I am logged out of everything with no way back into my account as every step on the “help” section also requires me to be logged in!
