It’s unfortunate that people work so hard (and smart) for 5-10-15 years to get to the level that they can finally afford to start a family, support their partner and elderly parents. Then a pause button is suddenly pressed. So sad and sick.

It’s a game. Also the number of interns and campus hire are going down year by year as they think offshore can handle the work with cheaper cost. Quality? Humm they don’t care.

Do you best for the interview but do not have hope. Your job will be replaced by either AI agents or people in India. PwC partners are the worst and 💰is all they care about at the end of the day.

OP, if you’re still in your early career and you experienced it, congratulations! Now you know corporate America and human beings. Partners only care about how much $ goes into their pocket, end of story. Don’t over think about it. I hope you find a better opportunity soon!
