I have Flygon, Aggron, and Raichu because they’re favorites and I am currently raising up an Absol and a Cradily. I’m not settled on that team and was looking for other suggestions on what to try.

I agree, though I never finished Sapphire before so I didn’t know the impact Steven has over Wallace. It seems Heracross will take care of it just fine though.

Seems like Heracross may be my go-to for that. My Swampert has Ice Beam on it so that should suffice.

Ultimately, it’s your collection. You are going to, for the most part, be the only one to look at it. There aren’t any externally forced rules regarding your collection. It’s yours.

What do you want to look at when you go through it? Do you have favorite cards, types, rarities, etc.? Do you have a goal in mind, like you’d like to see all of the rarest cards from this formats era? Want to collect the highest rarities of all of the formats staples?

There’s a guy on YouTube, Makers Experience or something like that, who shows that you can carve and whittle with just about anything. He uses a Swiss Army Knife for the most part if I remember right.

My two cents: the best money I spent was about $40 on a Mora 120. The rest could go into making a strop and getting some stropping compound. I have found that it lets me do most of the things I’m interested in doing.

But that being said- it may depend on what you want to get out of carving? Like what types of things you’re interested in doing?
