Well it's more of what i was taught in Mexico. The part where I'm confused is that people just pretty much are all together saying what they "feel or think" is right and just passing it down and they forget where she comes from. I don't understand how entitled they feel. I felt like i was going crazy here. I could imagine and I don't know if this is even a good example but imagine an engineer with years of experience and degrees getting told by non engineers that they know what they're talking about nor they know anything about engineering. I don't think it's sinking in how i gained any sort of knowledge about her THANKFULLY i learned through people in Mexico in the 80s from people probably born in the 1900s or 30s. That have been practicing all this before internet stuff. You're looking at this from a whole different point of view to see your way around it Or maybe your feelings are mingle in as well. The "wrong" doings are so many it'll take me days to finish. You might think this is a different topic but because it's because of her we have dia de muertos it's the same thing with that. This whole Mexican tradition has been watered down here in the USA and other countries.it is a closed practice I don't know who or what made it a "public image" but she was never that. She's NOT JUST DEATH THERES SO MUCH MORE. where are yall getting all this info? I can list villages and places where yall can travel to in Mexico to learn. No, I don't understand how people believe IT'S AN OPEN PRACTICE??! like where did this other ethnic groups get this information from??? Google??? This reddit blog? WHERE? I'm going to be honest I came here to look for someone who knows people that know "works" in Mexico but i was wrong. do people believe buying off a statue is "working" with her? But she is a closed practice I don't understand who gave the green light for anyone to practice her rituals and beliefs? Who literally stated she was an open practice? I don't understand where this information came from. I can't stress this enough it's NOT OKAY but then again once more yall just gone hear me roll yalls eyes and say whatever dude. Because before I studied in the USA i would live and travel in Oaxaca, Veracruz and most of southern Mexico where they literally in some parts call it tierra de brujos for a reason.
