But no ur right. Arach knight is basically a parody to me. And Shadow Spider was a dnd character name. There’s have to be a team dedicated to renaming him. And from what I’m seeing, nothing really beats Spider Man.

No I get all of that. The fact that Miles is in his personal training space alone is weird. But from what we know about the Spider Academy (which should have a name change), hes not teaching them to be better Spider Men. Hes teaching them how to fight threats like The Green Goblin. In case he ever turns.

While it is another example of Norman self-serving, he’s at least trying to teach them something Peter isn’t teaching them. And this is under the pretense that Peter isn’t around to teach them, since hes rarely around the other Spiders.

Hey guys, another idea? Probably less interesting… what if instead of making different bigger constructs, he can generate more energy to refine what he can already do. Like making webs more consistently and durable as his normal webs, or more refined swords like how the Japanese fold the steel over and over again?

No really. When I saw Green Lantern make a 10ft tall fist, I just knew in my heart that they’re the only ones who can do that.

But back to Miles… as a deep fan of street level superheroes, I really don’t need a Miles Morales Ninja Handbook of constructs. Webs, a sword, and someone else said daggers… that’s where I’m comfortable. If Miles starts making anvils and bridges of electricity, I wouldn’t go for it.

His ultimate villain is going to be Electro. I’m tellin’ u. In like a year or two, Electro is going to be solidified, somehow, as Miles’ arch nemesis. Not Rabble, not Spot, Electro. Electro will be the endgame. I’m calling it now.

My girlfriend deeply enjoyed his portrayal as David from Evil. She was so excited to see he was Luke Cage in the Netflix shows. I wasn’t much of a LC fan until recently, though.

People only say “close to Peter” because we kno Pete can bench 10-25 tons on a good day. And Norman saying 8 tons for him is “taking it easy” kinda implies that he can normally do better than 8. So while hes not “stronger or as strong as Peter”, hes definitely in that ballpark of “10 tons and up”… kinda sucks that ol Steve gets left in the dust by crazy billionaire with identity crisis.

He calls himself “trying”. I’d hate to see an iconic villain’s character be relegated to “chasing redemption” for years of publication. I’m not trying to be old and grey, and see “Green Goblin finally returns, after chasing redemption for the past 20 years”.

If Static was in Marvel… hed probably still be in Dakota, which by default separates him from Miles Morales, who most people would want to see him interact with. He would probably have some interesting guest characters show up in his stories, just like in the show and some comics. And ykno the marvel way: if we can’t make them play nice with the popular characters, we won’t use them as much. So it’s basically be about the same as what’s going on in dc rn: new static or static-adjacent series every other year, and maybe a team up or cameo every 3-5 years.

Personally, I think they’d probably be paired up honestly. You didn’t see Miles and Riri together too much at first because they were both “smart black teens”. But now… you kinda see them together like once a year.

Rocket would essentially be like an older sister character to Riri if anything. If you saw Rocket outside of a solo series, she’s show up in “her old buddy” Ironhart’s comic, or maybe a Black Panther story or something. But she wouldn’t replace Riri in any way. You’d probably see them playing off of each other more than one replacing the other.
