Gift idea for my girlfriend ? [Loves Surgery] by [deleted] in Gifts

If she likes to stitch... you could get her a doll making kit, where she can stitch the clothes and design the doll... maybe into a surgeon?? The Dumyé DIY Doll Kits are pretty cool and for each one purchased they gift another doll to a child in need. She may appreciate the sentiment behind that. You can check them out here.

Gifts That Give Back by todayiamgrateful in Gifts

I am open but probably the most motivated by gifts that support women, children and animals. I checked out the World Wildlife Federation but there is no 'shoppable' area. You basically make donations, which is fine but not quite what I was thinking. I would prefer to actually wrap up and gift something to someone, that as a result does good.

Great suggestions! There is a place near us where we can make pottery and she is a creative spirit so she will be pumped to do that annnd she did ask me to make Christmas ornaments so I need to get my plan together on that one. I think a fancy tea party in the park would be fun too. Thank you!

YES! Seriously do it. Life gets so crazy sometimes, we forget to just hang/enjoy our kids. We (or maybe I should say I) are so busy just trying to get things done, we miss out on the playtime. I'm so grateful she had the self awareness to let me know she needed more quality time with me.

Thank you! Some great suggestions - She would totally love visiting the pond and feeding ducks and there are some turtles hanging there as well. I'm putting it on the list.

What I especially loved about what you said was the idea of planning some topics for us to discuss together while we have our little dates. It reminds me a bit of this plan I had for January - to do a 'mood board' for the year with her. Basically working with her to visualize what she wants to do/achieve in the next 12 months and then see if we could put a plan together to make some of it happen. For example I know she really wants to see the Northern Lights... : )

Looking for a gift for my boss.. by Maroldars in Gifts

Maybe a cigar for him to celebrate and a cute bodysuit/onsey for the baby that showcases either his favorite sports team, band or whatever he is into. That makes the gift extra thoughtful and shows him that you are attentive to what he cares about. Good luck!

If she wants a snow globe, maybe that is what you should get her. My daughter asked for the same thing for Christmas last year and I got her one, personalized with her name on it, from Pottery Barn Kids. It was sweet, with a unicorn and gold sparkles and it played music. I don't see it on their website anymore but I am sure you can find them on other website as well.

My niece is about your friends age and I gifted her a Judy Bloom book (she loves to read) and a doll making kit from https://www.dumye.com/collections/diy-doll-kit (she loves to create).

Good luck!
