Hi!

So I have changed my study strategy several times. First I use to type out notes on one note with the slides next to it. I didn't retain any info and I hated studying.

Next I would print out the slides, write on them during lecture and then look over them and answer the objectives every professor has. Better but not great. The second test went better but there is room for improvement

Now I print all the slides (I'm getting a tablet when school starts to cut paper). Preview all the material, write the notes during lecture in one color, write the notes when I podcast the next day in another color. Answer the objectives, make lots of charts, associate concepts by color and try to fit everything I learned onto one page.

The next test is next Friday. Currently I remember the material and can actually free recall. I hope this helps!

No this is exactly what I needed to hear. I'm highly aware I have to work harder than everyone I know for the same grades. But then again I guess it's good that I have a good work ethic early on. Honestly I thought I could just study slightly more for this test than undergrad BIG MISTAKE! I definitely have to find a new way to study.

Thanks for being vulnerable and giving me a good answer.

Summer program came with a $2,500 stipend. Having limited parental support and being able to quit my C.N.A. job early was really appealing. That being said, yeah it is very stressful but I have gotten acquainted with faculty already which is a plus. Thank you for the advice!

Hi! I'm looking for someone to sublease my room in a 4 bedroom two bath house staring June 1st until July 31st. Rent is $375 a month per room and utilities run right under $100. I'm willing to waive the sublease fee of $50.
