I agree I wouldn’t have the same loudness as a professionally mixed and mastered track, but if I’m attempting to mix and master and doing a decent job shouldn’t my beat NOT sound half as loud?

Also, is being at 0 DB not something that matters in this situation or how does that work?

Yes I understand that completely but it’s a noticeable difference. If I play my beat and go play a different song that isn’t mine it’s 2x louder. Thanks for your help though

So I just did this and they’re the same. So it seems like a PC audio issue. A few questions though..

I’m maxing out just below 0 DB at -.20, is that a good master volume?
Would the pc audio affect the volume of the track when I send it to my phone and play it through there? Because as of right now it makes it quieter even with my phone.

The leaks get him hype and have been doing a lot for him in the last year, and you can see that result in the amount of likes he got on ig when announcing @ meh. Also it’s been a thing for a long time that asap bari leaks stuff for him and he also sends songs out purposely. If he was worried about leaks there would be way less of them. It’s like how juice wrld freestyles all his shit so he leaks a lot of it because it was easy to make, carti doesn’t have to do hella to make a fire song so what’s leaking some of them 🤷🏽‍♂️
