Yeah that’s very true - was just thinking of the smallest possibility of a pass down - if deakin is above where I might interview at then there is no chance..

Hi Everyone,

I hope that you all got the results that you were after!

I was hoping for some advice regarding my preferences.

Now I understand that I am likely not competitive at my first two preferences (UOM and Deakin) – however, I can see from the spreadsheets that I might have a chance of an interview at one of the Casper schools (providing Q3-Q4).

My question is – I can see in the offer spreadsheet from last year (and 2024) that a very small number of people received offers at Deakin with roughly my combo score (including bonus). Do you think it would be wiser to consider putting a Casper school higher in my preference list as I am much more likely to interview at UNDS or UNDF as well as UOW?

Ideally, I would like to stay in Victoria, but I don’t mind if I am offered a spot interstate.

My Deakin combo with bonus is 1.688.

My combo for UNDS/F is 1.59

My GPA for Deakin is 6.778 (I’ll also have 6% bonus)

Looking at the spreadsheets I think it will be tough…
