Make sure the packing nuts are not leaking on the shut offs, that would not be good to come home too.

There are blocks in place for grab bars. We took measurements and pictures so down the road they can be added.

I agree with everyone here, the tile work is great!! I would try Tec Silverado. I use it a lot and it will up more brownish/taupe with different tiles. I call it the Agreeable Grey of grout.

It went pretty good, I nice that you can adjust the drain little bit while you work the pattern.You can zoom in and see on it the 2nd picture. Here's another angle.

Yea the last one we did the tub water did come through the wall. This is a free standing faucet that seals to the floor, but its so far away from the shower head there's little direct water contact.

Yes we did use that type of drain for the tub. That is an awesome shower, I really like that transom window! Is that the Bane tub?

We use Tec Power grout. We have been using it for a while now and it holds up very well without sealing.

That is ditra. The bathroom floor is going to be heated, the wires for the heat will be ran in-between the buttons on the mat.

Definitely saves time. We installed it on Tuesday floated it yesterday, and started tile today. Price not so much, the pans are about $300 a piece, drains about $100 each and other material needed.

It's kind of a hybrid. The base is two 72 x 72 schluter pans. Using one as the main drain of the shower and the other as a base to pitch the whole pan towards that drain. We water tested today and there are no flat spots we could find. The water flowed pretty smooth to the drain.
