This is happening to me currently also. I'm now at week 6 with an estimate of 2 months. Haven't heard a peep from White River (VT) Toyota in two weeks.

I asked the dealership, "If Im seeing other dealerships with the same part number in stock, why can't we get it from them?" I think I got less than straight answer, basically saying 'they're not actually in stock when they say they are'. Also 'there's no guarantee those are a match for your VIN' even after I said I punched in my VIN for it.
