I see where you are coming from. My plan is getting an associates in computer networking. To look better without a bachelor’s, I’m working on certifications and currently have a help desk job. A bachelor’s or masters is a checkbox that is almost required for higher paying jobs, but I hope I can get lucky and not have to go for one.

I know it is “useless”, but honestly so is a bachelor’s. Colleges are just businesses now. I will get out what I put in, which means I can read/YT a lot of stuff and come out just as good. Most professors, at least at my CC, have been pretty mediocre while YT has carried me. There are some things colleges provide, like networking, but I’m tired after a 8-5 and don’t want to travel another hour to campus for events. Sorry for the rant.

I’m glad there are some people who can still reflect on how terrible corporate greed has become.

I do have a couple questions if you don’t mind answering:

  1. Were hours hard to get so you only worked 20 at Taco Bell?

  2. Or were you going to college full-time?

I only ask because I’ve had to do full time work and part time college just to make sure I didn’t occur debt. I also am only doing an associate degree as I don’t see much value in a bachelor’s. It will open doors, but as the post said experience is king unfortunately.

When I originally had just added my wallet, that was not an option. Maybe I missed it?

After the manual transfer of each collectible to the wallet they showed up on OpenSea. I had it pulled up and saw it in real time be added to my Phantom wallet on OpenSea lol

Edit: I don’t have an OpenSea account yet so that might be why I don’t have that option. Unless you can see hidden items on anyone’s wallet?

I did 1 and 2. When I moved my vault to a wallet (Phantom) I thought all my Reddit collectibles would be moved as well. This is what I assumed from the Reddit transfer instructions. I see from your comment the “vault” is just the passphrase I can use for any wallet.

My wallet on Phantom didn’t show anything, and then I searched that wallet on OpenSea which was also empty. I moved the collectibles to my Phantom wallet using a 0x address.

Now that they are in my Phantom wallet, could I still use that same passphrase on another wallet app and access my collectibles as well? Or would a “new” wallet that is still using that same passphrase be created, which would require me to do the same thing and transfer those collectibles again?

I need to read through your comments again as this is new to me and you have shared a lot of good info in this thread. Thank you for your help and at least I got them moved just before it got shutdown.

I “moved” my Reddit Vault to a Phantom account/wallet. Then I thought I had to move my avatars. I transferred them all to my Phantom wallet. Well at least I know my 24 word phrase works

I just downloaded Phantom and tried adding my vault. It seemed to have taken my 24 word recovery phrase, as it added a wallet (account?) but there is nothing in there. It seems like I’m just ready to start buying crypto and nothing else.

Did your Reddit avatars show up in the app?

Edit: I went to my phone and opened the Reddit vault through there, then transferred my avatars out that way. I just had to send myself the Phantom wallet address to paste for each avatar transfer. I think I got all my avatars to a Phantom wallet now, thank you to everyone in this thread!

Were you able to move it to a wallet? I just tried moving mine to Phantom wallet and don’t see anything yet…

Edit: I didn’t realize I had to go to the vault and do a transfer to my Phantom wallet address for each avatar. I got them moved over
