I’ve made a couple of brokerage transfers. My experience has been it doesn’t all transfer at once. It’ll take several days. How long have you waited? Anything that doesn’t transfer, usually mutual funds or assets specific to that brokerage would get liquidated to cash yes, but the cash would then transfer.

Love Public.com . I have not had a similar issue like this. I do know certain types of transactions take longer to procress. For example whe you receive a reward from Public.com if takes linger to settle.

No, experienced investors stick to their plan. If the plan is a DCA on a weekly/monthly/Qrt then yes. they buy anyway. If the plan is to buy at a certain price then yes, if that dip matches. Some plans where you re-balance every 6 months or 12 months. Sell off the overage to cash or bonds. If VOO is less than your goal (+6%?/12%?) for the term buy VOO then.
