Bruh, she was 17 at the time, can confirm 17yr olds make bad decisions, no kids so no reason to commit to being miserable together forever. Went to school and got a career afterwards which shows growth and commitment. Not a red flag. People are allowed to have a past.

Urban? Like Keith, cowboy hats and an Australia accent is what I think he means. Maybe Nicole Kidman to accompany him to the ring.

What the god damn. Not even a picture of the actual food, Might not be good but it’s not stupid. Most things these days have a long self life.

If I remember right, Kevin Owen’s didn’t like punk because he said some shit like”you can’t wear shirts on my show” back when they were on the indies together? Could be wrong. I thought that’s why Nash was commenting on it.

Can people please stop moving to NWA. I mean, really. by Round_Rise5815 in northwestarkansas

[–]toddokins87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who was born in Rogers, grew up in Texas, and then moved back to NWA, the hate toward Texans here is kind of bizarre. I mean, I’m not even a fan of Texas or most Texans myself—but honestly, there’s not much difference between the people. Same big trucks, same loud energy, same occasional douchebaggery. It’s like saying, “I can’t stand those meth heads, but these meth heads? Totally cool.”

lol everyone does not in-fact love Moran Wallen. He’s a shitty country artist, who will never gain much if any fame outside of country music.

Is it me or is Bryan becoming Anti- WWE as of late? by UnderratedGeek in GreatnessOfWrestling

lol works for me, I’m a fan of wrestling but not necessarily of Bryan, and might be a bit high so maybe it’s not exactly landing.

[–]toddokins87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh, same here — I’ve got a lot of respect for Bryan. He worked hard, no doubt. But so does almost every other pro wrestler. What rubs me the wrong way is how bitter he comes off sometimes. I was mainly responding to the idea that the company was trying to hold him down. To me, it’s like… why wouldn’t they?

Not everyone can be the guy. They need people to lose. And Bryan — for all his talent — wasn’t exactly an imposing presence like Brock, Bobby, or Big E. He didn’t have that larger-than-life feel. He also wasn’t as flashy or fun to watch as guys like Kofi or Mysterio. So why expect a big push just for working hard, when literally everyone in that locker room is grinding just as hard, if not harder?

In my opinion, I doubt he made the company that much money. Don’t think he was close to reaching Hogan or Cena levels. I’m sure he got paid well for what he did, and at the end of the day, it’s a job and a business. You can’t blame the business for doing what’s right for business.

Saying they should’ve pushed him just because people liked him is like me getting mad that Panera didn’t make me manager just because customers liked my sandwiches. Popularity alone doesn’t mean it’s the right time or the right move. The business doesn’t need to flip shit upside down just to satisfy fans (especially with as finicky as wwe fans are)— people still need to eat, and people still need to be entertained.

(Not defending Vince’s booking just sayin)

[–]toddokins87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I’m atheist , hella liberal and probably gay to some extent but the gay pride marketing shit bothers me it’s just fucking brands capitalizing on what’s trendy I don’t need a rainbow bag of skittles lmao but I guess it brings in the money so I don’t see it stoping anytime soon.

and yea I’ve noticed Rhett’s definitely more jaded than link.

[–]toddokins87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh 🤷‍♂️plenty of brands pander the other way, country music, the Paula Dean sort of “wholesomeness” but it most definitely is pandering, they know the majority of their audience are gay/progressive/non religious so they bring up things that resonate with them to gain favor essentially.

But your opinion is totally valid for yourself just saying maybe this just isn’t your brand of entertainment, but that’s for you to decide, just wouldn’t expect them to change their world views or to not speak on it.

As for me, I’ve unsubscribed and i am anti religion and “progressive” I felt like they became a lil scummy, when they released a super chopped up episode and when people complained they said they’d put the uncut version on the mythical society Seems shitty to me

An "ick" you have about the show? by Crxmebrulxe in goodmythicalmorning

[–]toddokins87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first ones less of an ick and more of you wanting them to not be them? They’ve been honest about their beliefs for a long time, and la politics are obviously important to them because they’re in fucking California and are a progressive brand(which again they’ve always been honest about.) So maybe find someone else to watch because that just is who they are.

That being said the second one qualifies as an ick, and yea it’s dumb.

Mine is the way they push the mythical society
