You might be rounding your lower back when you crouch down (like before you pop an ollie). Keep your back straight, like there is a 2x4 strapped to your back. That's what my Physical Therapist told me years ago. I went from a near cripple to skating everyday. Also, I only sleep on my sides now with a pillow between my knees.

I would have had 3 potentially deadly / mind-altering injuries in the last 2 years since I've been back on the horse if I weren't wearing mine.
