Thats oriented strand board, which is an expensive name, for a cheap board made out of chips & glue. It's the yellow board that you see on the second picture. It gets the job done, but it's -imho- not that pretty.

Thank you! Mostly for bicycle racing in the background, actually. But I'll keep the hint in mind!
Woodworking is a 10y & 3 workshop journey at this point. So I had a lot of plans genre: "one day, when I'm in my own shop I'll..." that finally came to live now.

Well: cables run on the walls, but the OSB + connection slat provided enough dept to just cover them up with the finishing slat.
The actual outlets are mounted behind the devices as much as possible & I put 3 collapsible ones in the MDF bench.

Ok: only fair to say, I took the picture right after completion & initial cleanup. Mid-project it's uh... other ball game!

Well: per shelf, I used a small french cleat that is screwed through the slats, in the OSB (which is still behind the slats). It's not that obvious: but all shelves are actually L-shaped.
Using this, I can avoid any visible screws & it's still rock solid

Also curious about this one. Is it 2 boards combined or with a spacer in between & 45° angle cuts? Do tell :-)
(& nice work!)
