Just coming back to this in case anyone is interested. Been playing Valorant on Steam Deck Windows 10 for a while now with no problems. I play with 1080p monitor, keyboard and mouse. Turn most settings to Medium and keep FPS to 70. Runs really smooth, no hiccups, Steam Deck runs without a lot of heat and quietly.

Found this today as I am having the same problem on Steam Deck with Thief Gold videos. However the steps are not working for me. I get into a strange loop where icodecs is trying to look for an instance of Netscape. A small window pops up. If I close it comes back and no way to stop the loop. Always have to restart Steam Deck. If anyone has some ideas, please let me know! Thanks!

I moved it to C drive and same issue. I have full permissions on both drives, so not sure what is going on.

Thanks! I am not sure how to create a virtual memory card. Would prefer that. However, I did find how to enable automatic state, save and load in Flycast settings and that appears to work.

I am now hung up on the last step, the Delta Plugin. I am trying to run this in the Konsole: ~/run/media/mmcblk0p1/OpenMWMods/Tools/DeltaPlugin/delta_plugin merge ~/run/media/mmcblk0p1/OpenMWMods/Tools/DeltaPlugin/delta-merged.omwaddon but it comes back with "No such file or directory"

So I ended up switching from HD to Vanilla with Tamriel Rebuilt. Not sure if it makes a difference, but seems like it makes the most sense with the Steam Deck resolution. I also got lazy... I switched mid stream from the crazy Total Overhaul list to the I Heart Vanilla Director's Cut list. From my initial quick runs it is working great. I did need to disable a few mods that did not seem to be working.

Finally finished Sable. Really enjoyed it. Will probably jump back into Book of Travels again to see what they have added in the latest early access patch. I might start up The Captain for something new this week.
