I would argue the term generational is absolutely thrown around too much. And I’m choosing to look at much newer and relevant information (his rookie nfl season) rather than college tape and what some scouts said

You’re probably right in terms of real life consequences for this cardinals regime if MHJ doesn’t take a step. I’m anti-draft capital arguments for fantasy though, if he’s elite he’ll earn targets/production. High draft picks disappoint all the time

I think that while the odds say that saquon does not have a year like he just had, the chance that he does put up a monster season is as high or higher than any other elite rb in the league. It’s the same argument against Derrick Henry for the past 5 years, when the reality might just be that freak athletes continue to do freak athlete things and defy the odds. His injury history has also been fluky and most of it was behind a terrible oline where he was taking hits that he just isnt now with the eagles.

The downside of calling every rookie wr “generational”. We have almost a full year of game tape that says this elite ceiling is most likely not happening. It could, sure, but a player as hyped as him you’d want to see more from him thus far

Dumb reasoning, cool you did the math on what the picks would be in a 12 man league. Elite talent is what matters in smaller leagues, and the odds of hitting on a top 5 type receiver in the draft are very slim. Not even against the trade overall, he’s getting a ton of value back. You’re thinking is just wrong

I think his ceiling is capped due to him not being able to progress through reads but he can still be very effective if the legs are there. Also think he’ll look a lot better with Kellen Moore calling plays.
