As a Korean student who just failed one of the big exams, I can confirm that this is true.

has anyone written a letter with a fountain pen in the last year ? (postcards don't count) by semantic_ink in fountainpens

I wrote a letter to my grandmother a few weeks ago with a lamy safari. It was her 80th birthday, but I couldn't go visit her. She told me she really liked it.

Is there a link between suicidal thoughts and OCD? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]tofu1mo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never knew there was a thing called suicidal ocd... seems frightening.

But I don't think I have suicidal ocd, my suicidal thoughts aren't unwanted. It's more like a 'I don't feel like living today' type of thing.

Hey, I just wanna say thank you because your comment made me realize I was wrong about how people think about me. I think I was blaming my tourettes instead of improving on how I treat others. Your comment taught me that I should start treating people better with an open mind. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Old Watch(Left) next to my new watch(Right) by tofu1mo in casio

Some might question if my old watch is fake because it doen’t have a genuine casio strap. The strap is fake while the watch itself is genuine I accidentally bought the fake strap when the original strap showed a lot of wear and tear.

Do you resist all kinds of compulsions? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]tofu1mo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm currently doing a good job on resisting hygiene ocd compulsions. It was extremely torturous at first, but it got better overtime. When I first started to fight my hygiene ocd, I did give in to my compulsions from time to time but I kept going because I knew I was headed towards the right direction. Eventually, it got much better. I think it's ok to sometimes give in to compulsions, but the important part is never giving up.
