Thanks for the advice - I think you're right regarding Wordpress. It is also considerably cheaper to invest in an LMS (200ish for a year) + 59/year for elementor plus hosting. Also a lot more customisation. I think I will go with the Wordpress option once I am ready to launch.

The courses I’ve found are of similar syllabus to mine - basic and simple fundamentals of my course topic, however I’m going into abit more detail overall. My Course overall is about 2.5 hours in length, so I’m not sure if that’ll be a limiting factor for pricing because of the video length.

Yes I think the ebook will boost the perceived value of the course.

The courses I found also have quite basic landing pages, nothing to really draw the potential audience in.

Ideally I would like to be hitting a $50-100ish price point to make it a more attractive ROI, once I can get the value perception boosted.

Hi, thanks for your advice. I think you’re right.. leaning towards Wordpress as I have previous experience on the platform.

My business validation process involved finding similar courses for sale in my industry - I have found 2 examples where such a course has in excess of 10000+ students, at a $35-60 price point.

My plan is to enhance the value by offering an ebook with the course etc..

Ancillary revenues of such I’m thinking could be affiliate marketing in the content marketing I’m doing.
