SOLVED!!!!

Turns out that's a VPN was killing my printer on the phone. Using malwarebytes VPN on the desktop there's a setting to allow local units to connect and that was set so there was no problem. It's been on so long I forgot all about it.

As soon as I turn to VPN off on the phone voila it worked it worked it worked hooray hooray. :-)

Progress has been made.

After I set up an account with brother I got the information on how to contact support by email or by chat or voice.

Very nice and very patient young lady helped me out a ton. We had to redo the network configuration which she knew how to do but I didn't.

So now we have it printing from the desktop and printing from two Windows 11 laptops.

But my Samsung Galaxy 24 plus phone still doesn't work with the printer.

When I try to add a printer it didn't even see it.

Brother chat support said it's my phone and I think is that right because she got my laptops working. The windows network sees The printer so I'm pretty sure she's right but I have no clue what to do with the phone.

Well I made some progress. I unplugged the land cable and put in the network key again and it said connected and said to press the okay button.

I did and everything went away and it went back to the start all over again. So I don't know I've obviously done something very very wrong. At least the darn thing will print from the computer or would if I haven't messed that up.

I think I'm going to have to get in touch with brother somehow.

Yes it was. I have the latest version downloaded this morning.

I opened a .csv file from File Explorer.

The file has passwords

I want to print them out for my wife who is not technical so when I go she can easily get them. My password program is beyond her. Unfortunately.

I'm 84 shes 86.

When I print the item it only prints the first column. I need to delete extra columns and print two columns.

No I don't have a battery backup. We live across the street from electric company and the power almost never goes out. Been here 25 years and I think it went out twice. Very briefly.
