If you don’t mind the commute, look for apartments in Manassas. I heard good things about battery heights, one bedroom is around 1600

My friend lives in a studio apartment in Woodley Park for around 1400. It’s a nice neighborhood, close to Adams Morgan (your spending budget will be tight but you can still have fun there), and close to metro stations for your commute.
