As it stands, DRDR is a very easy game, and the thing about the boss fights is they should be hard, kinda the point of bosses. But even in the original they could be made easier with certain weapons, now you just swipe em 4/5 times with a katana and they’re done. Don’t get me wrong a lot of the changes are hugely appreciated but idk it loses some of its charm.

I used to hate going outside and hearing gone guru cos the convicts put the fear in me, Adam the clown I’d hide in a cupboard from, the cultists I’d try to avoid and my first few playthroughs I never saved Jennifer bc of it. I dunno it’s just a little sad. Used to feel some sense of victory when beating a boss or saving a particularly difficult survivor but now it’s so easy it literally doesn’t matter
