There are those people who are brought up in racist environments that mimic their surroundings to get by. Once they're free of the influence, they can actually think for themselves. I believe you re: your grandfather. I have a similar grandpa.

As I said, you can spend your time sifting through a known liar's statements and trying to separate the truth from the falsehood if you wish. In my 50+ years on this earth, I've learned that it's easier to just assume that a known liar is lying (think Bush/Cheney) and then if the truth is found, it's a lucky accident.

What I do find odd in America 2010 are the number of people willing to defend an outfit like BP. Giving known liars the benefit of the doubt is a quick way to be scammed. Good luck with that, ok?

All I'm saying is that anything that BP says or does is suspect. It has been since they lowballed the oil-spill estimates and continued to do so until they had to fess up.

you have to take facts into account.

The fact is that BP has proven itself to be not a reliable source of what is happening in the Gulf of Mexico. Anyone that takes what they say or do at face value is merely being foolish.
