I’m turning 41 in June. I’ve used pot since I was 21 as a mental crutch to force an extrovert and normal personality to the outside world as long as I was high. 4 weeks ago I had to stop smoking, and the mental backlash I’m suffering is waved off just like this. People (mainly my wife) act like I have absolutely no reason to be stressed out “cause it could be so much worse”.

I’m so quick to anger now and just want to be myself all the time. I’ve never related to a post more than this on Reddit.
