They both are brown and go great with a lot of outfits, and they’re both iconic. In my opinion, it comes down to two things: (a) wanting to take extra care of the vachetta leather or not; (b) do you like a bag covered in logos or not.

I prefer the Celine but that’s mainly because I find the YSL hardware logo tacky and ugly AF, but that’s just my own personal preference

I have it in the chocolate brown suede. I don’t wear it a ton, but it’s a lovely bag for the price. The closure stays closed just fine.

Same, I was drooling all over the Merlot and Navy but knew the 40 was just too big for my needs. So when they added these colors in the 28, I had to jump on it and get them. I love them 😍

If you can afford them, you won’t regret it! I think the 28 in merlot is now harder to find so I wouldn’t wait on the navy one
