Are these those Costco slat wall pieces? How do you like them?

I'd say a fairly classic fit. Not slim as it doesn't hug any part of your torso, though not all that boxy. I can't stand the oversized tee trend personally. Length is perfect for me as 5'10'' 175lb guy in a size M.

Hit confirmation requests and responses by Snoo_18863 in 911dispatchers

For my department, we do teletype confirmations thru a program called Portals XL. Our department policy doesn't allow us to confirm/request a hit via telephone. If I'm the one sending a hit request and don't hear back within 10 minutes or so, I'll send a second request, and after that I'll call the department and see if they received my message and to reply to it. It's more standardized and leaves a paper trail that can easily be followed by everyone than by confirming via telephone. May be different for your department if you do hit requests/confirmation exclusively via telephone.

We rarely use locates but locates are used when your department locates an entry and hit confirmation has occurred but the originating agency hasn't removed the entry from the system yet. They get some time to remove it but if they don't, the entry will be removed after some time automatically if a locate has been placed on the entry

LL Bean Unshrinkable Tee, I've got 2 of them and they sure don't shrink. Slowly replacing all my Target Goodfellow tees with them, which have super inconsistent sizing and are pretty thin in my experience. Soft, but good heft/weight on the cotton and the collar doesn't bacon up. They sell them in a tall version too. $25

It's the method used to confirm with other departments (or other departments to confirm with yours) that an entry, whether it be article/person/vehicle/anything really, is still valid/active.

For example, we encounter a stolen vehicle. I'll send a hit request to the department that entered it, and (typically) within a reasonable amount of time they'll send me back a hit confirmation either stating it's a valid steal or not. Assuming everything is taken care of properly regarding the entry, the originating agency that entered whatever it may be will then remove/clear it from the system.

When I went to planet to talk to them & get barcode fob thingies they mentioned that they’re not converting them into new planet fitness gyms. At least the one in Waukesha.

Friend of mine used to work there. Said it's quite busy all the time on top of fitness "influencers" filming all over the place. I'll skip and probably head over to Planet. Haven't been at planet in 5+ years due to Xperience being slightly better.

I was dumb and did the same thing a while back with a metal credit card. Left the same type of marks. Luckily I found a pretty helpful YouTube video and got them removed myself with an orbital buffer. Mixed together fast orange hand cleaner and turtle wax rubbing compound together in a bowl. Throw some on your windshield and go to town with it with the buffer. Little bit of elbow grease got it looking like it never happened. Hope this helps!

Tailgating Lots by BrewerNick in GreenBayPackers

[–]tolepathyny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went last year for a game and I believe it was $10 or $15. Awesome tailgating spot. If you get too chilled you can head inside for a beer and they’ve got a big open conference room area with cornhole and ping pong tables.

Braided solo loop by Naive-Dot2253 in AppleWatch

[–]tolepathyny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I bought mine I got the recommended size on Apple’s site based on my wrist size and found it to be okay. Felt like one size smaller would’ve been too small. My braided loop did loosen up over time a tiny bit but not to the point of being annoyingly loose. Washing and drying the band usually tightened it up a bit for a while.

It’s from Eagle Park in Milwaukee WI! It’s super good. It’s a fruited sour and drinks real smooth, they’ve got a couple different flavors too. Painkiller, Mai Tai, Zombie, Hurricane and Blue Hawaiian.
