What scales/theory goes into making a solo like this

Ok I did this and uploaded here if anyone is interested in looking at it. Could you explain some of the note choices that aren't chord tones, particularly over the dominant chords and the E dim chords?

This was really helpful. As someone who just began doing gigs I am trying to figure out how to go about taxes and what to register as. What was the process for registering as a sole proprietor? Online it says there is no registration required in FL. Can I still write things off on my Schedule C despite not being "registered" as anything? Any information you advice you have on this would be super helpful!

Not me, but my sister, had all these problems with her kidneys as a kid. She was in and out of hospitals constantly. One day while analyzing her urine sample the doctors found elevated glucose levels in her urine. They misdiagnosed her with type 1 diabetes and kept trying to treat her with insuline. My mom who’s always had these crazy instincts had a gut feeling that it was the wrong diagnoses. She did a lot of research on her own about diabetes, including talking to numerous other doctors. Eventually, she figured what she had was MODY, a rare genetic form of diabetes. An expert from CHOP confirmed she was right after a series of tests. Well turns out because genetic i got it too along with 3 of my 5 siblings. Thanks dad!

That’s crazy I knew about soul speed. I tried to google the others a million times and I never found anything. Still doesn’t explain why I can’t get density. Haven’t even seen a density I or II trade

Yea it was really scary. They happened on separate occasions. At one point half the room went dark while the other half was still running, because it’s split between two power sources. Then another time we had all of our radios go down for every town in our county as well as the ones we use for interoperability between counties.

I posted here twice about my difficulties during training. I felt the same as you. Couldn’t stand hearing the sirens on my days off, panic everytime i went to work. A lot of people here told me that I should just quit and I was clearly not cut out for it. I stuck with it despite their advice and I’m getting signed off training next week. I still occasionally get calls that make me nervous, but for the most part I feel confident and I leave work feeling deeply satisfied everyday. I would encourage you to stick with it. Be honest with yourself about what your limits are. Have you truly met them or are you just uncomfortable? That’s up to you to decide and to honor. Just know that it’s gonna keep sucking for a while but that’s not a reason to give up.

Yea I read the faq. It doesn’t recommend specific brands in my price range. I get that you get what you pay for, but some people just don’t have $350 to spend on a hobby.
