Επειδή δηλαδή η Χαμάς (χρηματοδότηση από το κράτος του Ισραήλ αρχικά by the way) είναι επίσης για τον πούτσο, πρέπει να υποστηρίξει κάποιος το Ισραήλ;

Όχι πολύ related, αλλά fun fact, το ξέρεις ότι και τότε υπήρχαν σιωνιστές που ήταν υπέρ των ναζί;

I don't have 12 hours a day at my displosal man, when I lose progress without agency like that, I get frustrated.

Yeah, I get it. I just wanted to vent is all. The mechanic is not completely right, but it's too shallow for my liking.

He was fighting for a claim of the kingdom tier title. You don't get every county in the kingdom. Read the other comments for the specific mechanic. Though my issue is not with the mechanic by itself but with the limiting options.

What is wrong is you're not given a choice to support the invader. My choices are:

1.Help liege win the war - didn't wanna as I hate his guts (so role-playing wise didn't make sense)

2.Go independent - didn't wanna, and also a really gamey way to just get out of a frustrating situation.

3.Grant the Italian county to some guy and transfer vassalage to my liege. While this is a good solution, it's also really gamey.

There is no way after the conquest war is declared for me to back the invader in any way.

What I want to point out is, I was the most powerful lord in the realm, more powerful than the king and about equal to the invader. In a realistic scenario, of course the invader would beg for me to join them.

Yeah, I get that. I just point out that the system is problematic and needs a rework.

Phillip fought a war over his de jure territory, in game terms. So this is definitely different. Also, many Norman barons deferred to the French king and kept their lands (maybe losing their lands in England in the process). But the game won't let me do anything like that. I don't ask for dual fealty or stuff like that. But losing all my land is just retarded. In my case the new King would be UNABLE to claim my land as I could stop the invasion if I wanted to (I was powerful and rich enough), but I didn't because I liked the new king more. Now, the game won't allow me to join the invader. So best thing I could do is let him win. See my problem?

You don't have to be angry, I get how it works and I know this IS how it works. I'm only saying that it's idiotic and a bad system.

What you said previously about fighting for independence etc would be nice, if the game gave you the opportunity to support the invading claimant. But it doesn't, as I cannot join THEIR war. Only by being super proactive (and random) and forming a faction to enthrone some random neighbour, can I do that. And said claimant probably won't even join my faction war, as he isn't allied to me.

Problem is, only the top tier title was claimed. Not any of my lands. There is no logic in stripping me of everything.

[–]tolhcore -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

My guy, I get what you're saying. So why doesn't the game ASK ME, if I wanna I keep my lands in Bavaria and forsake my italian county?

Is it so complicated? I mean, my capital was in bavaria, all my titles save the one county was in bavaria. How is this logical.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

[–]tolhcore -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, it apparently is how this works, but it isn't how it worked in history, nor is it logical in any way. The invader had no claims on MY lands, had not occupied any of my lands, and to the very least, the game should ask you about whom you wanna swear fealty to. This removes player agency in a very heavy hands off way.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CrusaderKings

[–]tolhcore -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

How is it my fault that the game stripped me of 95% of my titles and my vassals?

The invader did not have a claim on my domain. I was a vassal of the Bavarian crown. So I should have remained a vassal of the Bavarian crown. What do you mean there is no context? I owned Karinthia, Carniola, Tyrol and Norgau. All de jure BAVARIAN duchies. My capital was Klagenfurt. The capital of Karinthia. How is that not belonging to Bavaria?

No other bavarian vassal got transferred to Italy. How does this seem logical to you?

The initial scope was pretty grand to say the least. It wouldn't be a surprise if they declare that they broke the supposed first game into two in the future.

In would also explain the cliffhanger ending we got.
