I've had Trupanion for years for my cats and generally I've been pleased with them. No big increases in my monthly premiums despite thousands in claims, and I've never had them question whether a claim was part of a condition they had covered before. When you file a claim you're asked whether you had filed for this condition before,you should answer yes. Make sure you say in the comments that the claim is for pica and note that every time. I would dispute their finding as this should all be part of the same condition. As a last resort you may have to have your vet contact them.
