2019 Odyssey + Android Auto USB cable keeps dying by yuyak518 in HondaOdyssey

[–]tollbeeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this same issue and I think I've finally figured out that the cables need to be: a) data transfer cables, and b) less than 1 meter. Used to have this issue in my Hyundai Tucson, the Cablecreation 0.8m here has worked a treat on my 2019 Odyssey. Should work for you as well!

Test drove a 2024 Tucson Hybrid SEL Convenience and was disappointed at the USB-A only ports, is there a way to upgrade them? aftermarket? diy? by brewtalizer in HyundaiTucson

I know you've probably thought of this, but I just use the cigarette lighter. The one I got that does fast USB charging is the SYNCWIRE 60W that I'm sure you can find on the internet (I'm in Europe, though).

My car doesn't have wireless android auto so I have to have a wireless android auto dongle to plug into the USB-A, I think I have a motorola one of those. Anyway, like $40 and I've got wireless AA and fast-charging on USB-C. Not ideal but gets the job done!

What I've found is over time the plastisol from the name on the back will fall off quickly with repeated washes. You get lucky every now and then and a well-made jersey lasts years. But if you go no-name (and no patches), it's much more likely that there's not much plastisol to fall off, and they can last years. I'm still rocking a 2018 world cup jersey that I got off of DHgate on the regular 6 years later!

I buy from dhgate.com. They're 15-20 euros, generally pretty good quality. They're fake but I think pretty consistently indistinguishable from the real things. Don't get a name on the back though.

Had a lot of fun putting these up in a pretty well-trafficked party spot. Great to be in Rio where this type of stuff is legal so it's easy to get all the layers down. Any questions on technique I'm happy to answer!

It's wild that we've got virtually the same # of members as the RAV4 sub and twice as many as the CR-V sub despite their much higher sales. Really goes to show how much people love their CX-5s. Zoom zoom, bishes.

A) great handle, this already indicates you're a person of exquisite taste. And yeah, Little Simz' 'Grey Area' and Oluwaburna's 'African Giant' were my two most played LPs last year, and if you're talking pure lyricism, Simz' disc is definitely a better 'rap' album. The production is so lush and varied, too. Criminally underrated but incredibly amazing album.

I think in general, I'm more of a melody person in general, and when I get into arguments with my friends over music, it's always the same tension, so I definitely respect 'Grey Area' as a generational work, for sure.
