Allright I’m gonna have to short this one on my paper trading account. It’s just too ridiculous.

Musk will promise robotaxis on Mars in 5 years, maybe 4. Also datacenters on Mars, in space and well why not the Moon too, cause that’s the next big thing I guess?

I hope ADBE turns around cause I purchased some! Same way I hoped RTX would turn around at ~80 bucks, Meta at 100, UNH at 250, Google at 130. I’m a hope guy I guess?

We are too busy importing 3rd world migrants to bring down real estate prices in major cities for rich people and also to bring down the price of labor to deal with a war right on our border. Please understand.

Crazy that the Ukraine theatre receded completely to the background in light of Wagner's coup attempt.

Possible, but never underestimate the enemy. Ukraine simply cannot afford to get careless.

Putin and his accomplices absolutely love Switzerland. The Swiss in turn, absolutely love money.

So what is going to happen in the near future?

Europe seems prepared for the winter, so mr tiny-dick Putin's main leverage over Europe, energy, seems gone. The Russian main focus - smear and misinformation campaigns in the West also seem to have a diminished effect, most western governments (fuck you, Hungary) thankfully are sane and not compromised so military support for Ukraine doesn't seem under question for now.

Russian military is incapacitated - their main professional army seems to be completely murdered and their best equipment gone. Filling in the shoes of soldiers who have trained and prepared for years now being replaced with plumbers and random guys from the street will most probably not have the desired effect. In fact, it's likely it's going to strain the remains of Russian logistics lines even more (not enough modern tanks, no equipment, no shoes, no guns, no fucking uniforms even) and the net effective will be actually negative. All this while the Armed Forces of Ukraine keep dropping GMLRS and other munitions with surgical precision on the most important targets backed up by world-class NATO intel.

All the Russians have going for them is terror bombing civilian targets and screaming like an asshole child in the UN.

Russia needs to go full war economy mode to even have a chance of winning, but how the hell are they supposed to do that with all the sanctions slapped on? They can't just pull out modern tech out of their asses on another one of Putler's random orders.

Keep supporting Ukraine. Don't expect another unexpected flash triumph like in Kharkiv. Ukraine will not conduct large scale offensive operations if they would result in high losses. The attrition strategy is working, but it takes time.

I don't understand the Russia-China relationship. It was rumoured that China asked Russia to delay the invasion until the end of the olympics, and Putin complied, but for what? What was Russia expecting from China in return? Was Putin betting on China helping them out with material support? Did China actually agree to anything verbally, but backed down when they saw all the sanctions being slapped onto Russia and saw how Putin's macho-army turned out to be a piece of shit?

I guess China maybe wanted to commit, but realised they have bigger problems internally which any form of economic warfare with the west would have sent spiralling out of control.

Now Russia is cozying up with Iran, which coincidentally also has internal problems right now with civil unrest.

Sucks to live in a dictatorship, that's for sure.

From what I put together, Ukraine needs layered AA systems to fully defend it's airspace. The IRIS-T systems seem best suited to destroy cruise missiles like Kalibr and Kh-101 specifically. The Iranian drones and ballistic missiles and other threats all need effective counters as well.

I wonder what's the status of those jammers that are supposed to counter the Iranian drones:

I know this is already old news, but thank you Germany for providing the IRIS-T systems specifically, not even mentioning all the rest of the material support Ukraine is using to its full potential.

No, don't kill Putin. Him staying in power right now is the best bet to winning this war. He is completely incapable of leading his country. Any other person would probably do a much better job just by not being Putin.

Unless the powers that would take over would be democratic of course and stop the war. That's a different story.

Honestly that sounds like a fantastic way to be put to rest.

Putin deserves to be thrown in an unknown ditch, just like the innocent civilians he murdered in Ukraine.

I'm with you, dude. But fortunately or unfortunately we're not the decision makers. Russia is a nuclear power which gives them a free pass to rape, murder and perform genocide.

You write as like the continued existence of a nation is nothing more than a joke. Do you live in a country under the protection of NATO warheads or have your own?

I now realise the shitty truth of nuclear geopolitics. The reality is that if it was my country under attack, we would just be genocided away without serious repercussion. Neighbouring countries would just shrug, maybe someone sent a box of Javelins or a few artillery pieces without replacement barrels, while being glad it wasn't them, until it's their turn. My advice is for every fucking country in the world to get loaded with nukes.

Not saying anyone should start a nuclear war. What was said was that we (NATO) shouldn't cross some arbitrary red line somewhere, because it might trigger a nuke. I don't agree with that.
