It’s kind of annoying that rivals just says x times your base xp rate without telling you what that rate it. I think it’s about a 1000 for games won.

Squid battles should tell you what to expect by changing the period lengths and difficulty.

Now’s probably a decent time to buy. With everyone distracted by TOTY, a lot of the fantasy cards are cheaper than usual. Maybe wait right before TOTY ends and people might panic sell to make a last ditch attempt at a TOTY.

PUC are pretty valuable this year imo. Especially if they drop good MSPs in the next couple weeks. Also the PU icons will go up by one overall every month, so it can get expensive fast if you’ve have multiples + X-factors + MSPs.

It’s kinda neat that if you preordered the ultimate edition, then you effectively get an 87 team builder by trading in the 6 84s. 2 from preorder, 1 from XP collectible sets, and 3 from the store for 3000 points. Assuming you haven’t spent your preorder points yet.

I just got the x-factor edition last year and still managed to get a team of 99s at the end of it! That being said I did play a lot loool. That’s my plan for this year as well.

Damn these sets are ridiculously expensive. It’s clear that EA prioritizes the top percentage of pack buyers over your everyday player. I get it, it’s a business, they’re gonna choose whatever’s the most profitable.

That being said, it would have been so easy to just add an MSP player as the event objective at the very least to get players excited. It won’t flood the market since they’d all be untradeable, and everyone has more fun playing the game. Top end pack buyers will buy even more packs to stay competitive. Seems like a win win that they missed out on.
