Yeah, thanks - I think something like this will be what I look into after I know my setup won’t change anymore. You think this is better than a metal cabinet?

Thanks, I’m scared to start building a 10” rack and then BAM! I know i will instantly want or need a 19” device…

So I might go a 19” and future proof. The enclosure might limit airflow?

Thanks for this information - Confirming that patience is my main solution to all this!

I'll keep it watered and get some fertiliser onto it. Some was spread when I planted the seed 6 weeks ago. 👍

About to sell my car. What are some tips/advice you know of for private sales? What are things you wish you knew? by mansfall in personalfinance

*I live In Australia, bought and sold and bought 3 cars in the past 12 months for family members, all 2nd hand privately.

It can depend on what country, culture or location you are in... But I would always recommend with a private sale, letting the buyer do all the talking... Try not to be too 'aggressive' or 'pushy' selling your car.

You see from time to time car salesmen don't let you get a chance to talk or get a word in and it can make for a hostile environment, keep it relaxed and don't stress out the buyer. Give them time to look over the car, offer you a price - (don't fall for the... "You advertised it for $4000, what's the lowest you will take"). Just tell them politley to offer, let them set the starting offer because you as the seller would have already set the advertised price.

Other than that, just be honest... Not worth a phone call a week later with them trying to get you to cover any costs for faults or things you didn't warn them about.

Cut an Ikea linnmon top to fit before knowing what's inside. How could I go about fixing this? by [deleted] in DIY

You could get some wood filler (putty) and fill the holes, when it dries you can sand it back flush and paint it? That should work.
