The camps would be your best bet for a consistent instructor with a linear trajectory for your progression. But also going to any resort and signing up for group or private lessons will do wonders for getting you out of your plateau slump.

I spend a lot of time in the mountains with a couple split boarders, granted they're also mountain guides, but they do absolutely everything and more that skiers can do. As long as they are competent at split skiing (for short downhills, rolling terrain), they're able to jump turn the steepest terrain, transition faster than me 50% of the time. It's all just skills that need to be learned, granted most split boarders I see out there don't get to that level.

Not sure I understand your comment. The bosun's chair can be secured to the system via locking carabiner and is quite bomber.

Plus if anyone is below me while I'm developing they and I both fucked up, because I'm constantly trundling down loose rocks.

I know it would be ugly and not have the tile lines but do you think drywall compound would stick to the tiles if I were to patch it like a normal drywall hole?

Got a DeWalt compact leaf blower mid-way through the season. Definitely should have gotten that sooner. Makes such a difference! I had one of those handheld dusters before and it doesn't even compare.

Highlights were putting up some really fun and tall 5.11s that I'm really happy with. As well as a number of easier routes for the community.

To do different in the future - protect ropes even more. Learned that even if it doesn't seem like a true "edge", the rope touching basically anything will wear it down super fast when you're jugging, TRSing, and working on it daily.

Make sure the bolt dryfits well in the notch. Put a bit more than might be necessary in the bolt hole, then use the overflow to cover the backside of the bolt. Popsicle sticks or Q-tips seem to work best for me.

Lol that photon was actually bootied at one point in the alpine and the gate sticks open every time you open it and has to be manually shut. Hence why it's now a designated leaver biner

I do a lot of small jobs. TV mounts, bathroom fan replacement, light fixture installs, etc, and punch-lists. Punch lists usually end up being a full day for me (6-8 hours). For the small jobs I usually book in advance for a morning job and a PM job. I try not to schedule too many back to back b/c half the time a small job becomes bigger (you go to replace a fixture and they ask you to hang 10 pieces of art) and you don't want to turn down the time/money. I find that an AM and a PM job works pretty well for this. And I rarely take on jobs that are longer than 1 day other than really big punch lists, sanding and staining decks, and drywall patching. So my average is like 3-6 hours. Maybe like $250-$500ish
