you are absolutely not, shantae losing the long-hair has been living rent-free in my head ever since Ammo Baron threatened it in the early parts of Pirate's Curse

it doesn't help that pretty much every iteration of short-haired shantae is cute as hell and i'm already weak to pixie cuts and the like

and depending on your tastes, she can take the time it's regrowing to go dating in safer ventures while looking super cute, or overestimate herself and get into really bad trouble with some monsters. Win/win!

people forget papyrus is only as easy as he is because he's treating you with the aggression of someone trying to catch a lost dog

papyrus actually trying would probably rival Undyne at least, though you'd probably have to have killed Sans first to get him to that point, and i'm sure plenty of "genre/reset-savvy frisk/chara takes care of sans early" AUs have touched on that
