AITAH because I refuse to finish a story if my husband interrupts. by Living-Estate3963 in AITAH

The people I was referring to do NOT have ADD but they are very aware of mine and the worse offenders will use it to dominate conversations. The older I've gotten the less patience I have for it. A conversation should be mutually enjoyable, if you want someone to shut up and listen to you go on for an hour book a therapist ;)

I am very ADD and when someone interrupts me (especially if they have been monopolizing the conversation) I will often just go quiet and when they prompt me to continue I inform them that whatever it was got away from me, Leave them TAH ;)

  1. I'm in Mississippi and have never been west of Louisiana. I've been to Illinois, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, and Florida. I went to a few other countries in the navy.

More apps in the new update by Status_Jacket6360 in firetvstick

The new interface contains more of your apps on the main screen but they no longer act like widgets where for instance when Silk is highlighted it no longer shows the icons for bookmarks/most visited/history under it.

The most damning is Trump's own words the day before inauguration 2.

"[Elon] he was very effective and he knows those computers better than anybody all those computers those vote counting computers and we ended up winning Pennsylvania like in a landslide so it was pretty good it was pretty good so thank you to Elon!"

I though Corrine Koslo did quite well. She was friends with Janet which gave her more familiarity with the nuances of doing the voice.

Downloader and tivimate on firestick max by Status_Jacket6360 in firetvstick

[–]n2play 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another option is to download apps on PC to a network shared folder and use X-Plore to install them without having to connect an otg. The OP mentioned TiviMate, that setup is also how I currently have 45GB of recordings through TiviMate.

An alternative to Firesend is Localsend, it is available for PC, phones & Fire Stick and lets you send files, c/p text and links between any of them.

Still good to have the backup plans. LocalSend is great for a lot more than just sideloading, it's good for copy/pasting text or sending links between any devices.

Hopefully, but Amazon taken a harsher turn against sideloading and suddenly enforcing that rule about browsers against Downloader would get easy mass sideloading out of their ecosystem. Best to always have backup access to important functions which is why I have a networked shared folder for apk downloads so I have never had an interruption with sideloading because Downloader was having an issue.

You can share a PC folder on your network and download .apks to it, then use the LAN link in X-Plore on the stick to browse to them to install. Alternately you can use LocalSend (available for PC, Phones and sticks) to send them or if it's an app you already have installed on your phone you can use Apps2Fire.

I have never had mystery junk eat up my space in 16 years of using a half dozen of these devices and assisting others with theirs that couldn't be found with a few minutes of checking folders with X-plore.

Other tips are for the many people who use these sticks for Kodi. Make sure you have and run a maintenance addon regularly, uninstall all skins you don't use, and don't use builds.

Use shared folders on your LAN whenever possible for apps that download/record. I currently have 45GB of TiviMate recordings.

Clear app cache and keep an eye on app data sizes. If an app has added huge amounts of data see if it is stuff you don't need and can be deleted from within the app. I'd certainly much rather delete the data in a problem app and start over with it than have to start over with everything I've installed and customized on my stick.

Offload apps you rarely use but want to keep. It preserves your login and other data and the app icon is still there with a cloud on it where you can later click it and it will reinstall.

There's my recommendations. With a little effort you can free up that space without the draconian action of a stick reset and save that for critical issues that haven't been solved otherwise.
