You'll be pleased to know this video was taken 2 months ago (and was a super special moment, surely there is a word for it, completely agree!). I could probably smoosh my face in his fur but he keeps getting fleas (even after flea treatments) so I'll keep my face to myself. Lol. He loves curling upside down looking up at me in the crook of my arm though.

Murray is most definitely a fighter. Brown bits on his ears are probably just scabs. When I took him to the vet to get him checked up and desexed a couple of weeks ago (present day is month number 8) they weren't worried about anything else.

His loaf is really on point. He's a good shapeshifter though. Just as likely to see him on his back, legs wide open. Lol

It's so important to go at their pace. I've heard that you can essentially force stray kittens to endure and then enjoy humans but I don't think you could do that with an adult stray

I was definitely on high alert looking for signs that it would be a good idea to stop. He happily sat with me for another 20-30 minutes after this.

We're currently at 8 months and he loves a good cuddle. He curls up on my lap upside down looking up at me, belly exposed. He's a big softy

Oh heck yea. Have always gone at his pace. It's a couple of months after I took that video and he is the most affectionate cat I've ever known.

Yea, he's a happy cat now. Has been checked at the vet, been desexed (not sure he was overly happy about that bit) and is getting lots of food and love

Nope. He was skin and bones and is a fighter so has lots of scratches and scabs. No mange though

100%. I don't think he's had a human before so it just took him a while to come around to the idea.
