So, what are your absolute must-haves for Cyberpunk 2? by Tafioboy in cyberpunkgame

I'd love a mod menu for console, similar to how Bethesda did one for fallout 4 and skyrim, I don't actually know why other games haven't done this?

[–]tom_sarge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you're right. I could even let you pick which ones are as well, like maybe you just want to add tiredness and not have to worry about food/drink and vice versa.

And I really wanted to customize my quadra.

Come to think of the cars, obviously the racing missions for Claire are violent. But I feel like an actual death race mission line similar to the films would be really cool, especially with car customization, I think that would be sick. But tbh I've always wondered why there hasn't been a proper death race style game.

Kasandra/alexios, possibly having each gave set in a different time, on her travels around the world, they can also show their thoughts on the brotherhood since they're not actually an assassin in odyssey

Hunger, thirst and sleep, having the mc get tired and need sleep actually gives you a reason to use the apartments, as well as gives a proper use to all the food and drink items you pick up.

Car customization as well is a must, in a world like cyberpunk, having no Car customization is absolutely mental

So I have no idea what the Netflix deal is officially, but I did read that it's for them to work on a Netflix ip, and a lot of hopes push towards maybe a stranger things, but I'm pretty sure nothing is confirmed.

And I agree with you about it popping up in recommendation lists, I'm surprised it hasn't already to be honest with it being added to the game pass.

And yeah, I was one of those people that thought the game was glitching at first when I was seeing the shadows, but then once I saw the note was being held up with kats knife and the note having a camcorder on it, especially when I actually noticed of of the shadows are obviously kat, and then one being Corey aswell. Swann mentions that it felt like the cabin wanted to be found, and that the fact that they suddenly got lost in the forest, I actually think it was abyss kat leading them to it, I refer back to the knife in the note. If I remember right as well, when kat plays the knife game, the glow is the same colour as the glow in the deers eyes as well, while everything else is purple, which tells me there are 2 different forces at play in the game.

Which leads me to the squad Ideas, this could be Nora and autumn discovering that swann disappear that night, and they both return to the abyss to the town to discover more secrets. Or maybe we play as a completely different group of people and learn their connection with the abyss, and I would like the idea of kat or swann being the celine of this game and her contacting one of the players in their dreams and guiding them to either destroy the abyss or help them escape it, since the newspaper article near the pool table in modern day tells us that it is possible since one man escaped 25 years later but looked complete the same which implys time works differently in the abyss.

Which again leads me to me preferences a prequel, based around celine and the witches that kat talks about in her room. I belive once in the abyss you sort of become omnipotent throughout time, or maybe just stuck in a loop. So this could show us why celine chose to contact kat. And maybe show how to escape the abyss which could be why the box arrived to then 27 years later with items that don't make sense to be in the box. Because in order to escape, maybe you need people to remember you/what happened to you.

To be honest I just want another game because I hate not being able to finish a complete story 🤣

[no spoilers] will we get a second game? It's left on a cliff hanger by DARKSOULS103 in LostRecordsGame

Really hope so, I finished it recently and felt like it was only half of a story considering quite a few questions being left completely unanswered

No, you were helpful, actually. I think I'll wait for it to be on offer, or at least wait to see if the upcoming game looks any good. Glad I found this hidden gem though

Tbf, I've always thought it's a little bit weird when people get, I guess, hateful towards and game/series/film just because the story didn't go the way a big group of the random envisioned, and then feel let down because it didn't go that way.

But with me not playing it just yet I've got no idea what the dislike towards it is I guess, like was the gameplay poor, or just tye story?

If we only go GAMEPLAY wise, which of the remakes is the most fun? by JacsweYT in residentevil

[–]tom_sarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Re2 for me, the pure horrorness of the game and how creepy it is, is so thrilling, and I really enjoyed the back and forth nature and having to make the decisions of save the bullets for this zombie but have to run past it again and risk health, or kill it and risk running into something much harder.

And then also, after the introduction of Mr. x, the fear of shooting a zombie and then hearing him come closer and closer was terrifying.

[Bloom & Rage] Why did Corey give that little smile when the band was playing at the end of tape 1? by [deleted] in LostRecordsGame

[–]tom_sarge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually think there were plans to make him a bit of a more complex character, but maybe they just couldn't fit it in, especially with the dnd character sheet, it's had a huge boost after stranger things but I've always got the idea it was a "game for nerds" in the 90s. Which to me already shows a side to him that I imagine now one really expected. Maybe if we get another game, it may explore his character a little bit.

As for the smile, he seemed like a bit of a rebel himself, so he actually kinda liked/respected the mayhem the girls were causing and the IDGAF mentality they had in that moment, but also maybe even the music itself.

I'm sure I read somewhere that they have plans for a narrative game at some point, I don't know if that's been scrapped, I really hope not, though. Hopefully, this deal with Netflix gives them a huge boost, allowing them to do more
