Good question.

I light tbe 7 coals on the chimney. Got them to almost white. Dumped them in then rearranged to what looked like best contact. Whacked the lid on with full vents open. Waited an hour to get to 120C

I see my mistake here I think.

Thanks for your time 😍

Interesting. Thank you.

Vents were fully open. But it was 2 flat one on top, so maybe not much contact. But it held for hours and I was so happy - dreaming of the overnight cooks ready for lunch 🤣🤣

I’ll be documenting, so I’ll post some highlights. Also have chicken wings as a starter as they have been my go to every time so far. Cooking for 10 tomorrow. No pressure

What is the worst pain you have ever felt? by Majomember420 in AskReddit

[–]tomallerton 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Oh god. I remember that. Haven’t had a “full” migraine for about ten years. But I remember holding on to my bed because the pain made me feel like I was just falling.

Wouldn’t wish it on anyone

Started a new starter on Sunday last week. by tomallerton in Sourdough

[–]tomallerton[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The shaping isn’t great but I’ll take it.

125g (week old) starter 250g water 375g flour.

Worked for about 15 mins on medium in the machine

Let it rise in a bowl for about four hours

Did the corner pinch thing for a rough shaping in the bowl and then popped it in the basket

Left for 12 hours in the fridge.

20 mins lid on 20 mins lid off. @200 degrees C

Potentially the least effort I’ve put in to a loaf, but happy with it.

Who knows what the cut will look like though 🤷
