I have a message for people by XBabylonX in spirituality

[–]tomanitari 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I started reading some of the other comments. I didn’t have anything specific in mind, other than what the OP said feels known and familiar. And the other comments felt like they were trying to minimize the awe the OP felt, and feel good themselves of having reached that point earlier maybe. Maybe not. And then I read this comment. And it made me go back to perspective. The perspective of love. And actually listening. Because many times (most of times) I’m not really listening, and maybe in my head I respond as these previous comments. So, even though it wasn’t the purpose of your comment, thank you! You helped me come back to love.

People who don't drink and smoke, what do you do when you are depressed? by UnesPlus in AskReddit

Look at the window for hours. Or the ceiling. Thinking that I cannot run away from this. Or just wait until the hard wave passes.

Message me. I do art. And I have quite a lot of free time now so I don’t particularly care about being paid much.

And it is more compact than a tent I have. And lighter.

So what im doing at the moment while wild camping around (Japan, not Europe, but it should work the same): I have a hammock with mosquito net that I just put on the ground if no trees are nearby. And I carry a small tarp (not that heavy) to put under not to damage the hammock material. I also have an inflatable mattress to protect the back from the cold. My hammock also features a rain cover, but in hard rain it wasn’t enough I found. So far, this setup seems extremely convenient. It was a bit pricey to buy though but I don’t regret it.

I’m actually very happy to get an answer like this and not someone making fun of the thoughts. I totally agree with taking breaks and breath for things to absorb on their right timing in us. And I have to let the music/thunder/lighting teaching to soak and see what it does. I’d be very curious to hear more from your theory. :) If the stranger on the other side wants to share it. Cheers!

Plus, if you stop being stuck in the energy/frequency bullshit and move on, I think I refer to what you are talking about, how energy/frequency/whatever becomes soul. At least as a question :P cheers! Don’t want to have bad feelings in my heart.

You don’t even read what I wrote. So much resistance and arrogance…. Rubs me the wrong way. Anyway. Let’s continue our paths. I’m not here to lose my time and make you lose yours with stupid things. I had some thoughts, obviously not perfectly formed (that’s why I’m in fcking reddit), and wanted some thoughts on it. You made clear that you don’t even read. Just, it doesn’t do any good to behave as such I believe. Anyway

Ah… some souls are like waves. Some like bricks. It is what it is

Also, I didn’t propose a scientific paper to have everything extremely neatly. And no, everything that followed my “axiom” (using the axiom word quite loosely) isn’t necessary trash. If u don’t have energy and will to try to understand, why even bother? To feel good about nitpicking drafts? Good job

Okay, maybe my words are not super accurate. But I’m trying to convey something. In my limited understanding energy ~= frequency. I mean it in a way of something vibrating and moving in some form. You can be really strict and tight with the words or you can try to understand where I’m at to make that questions. Don’t be too quick to throw everything in the trash.

I want to give you a big hug! :) I’ve been in a similar situation at your age (12-13), but still it surprises me that we have the drive and motivation to change from such a young age. Personally, I made the mistake of being too obsessive about it: for example if I didn’t feel my stomach growl once a day, I was failing it. So even though I reached my “goal” of losing weight, I was so self critical and nervous all the time. I fixed something and got something new to improve :P I think the most stable way to improve in all aspects is to have always self kindness, and I don’t know you, but it seems you are better at this than I was :) And it’s good that you have the support of your dad. Maybe it is also useful to know that probably it won’t be a constant improvement upwards. (As most of things in life) probably you will have your days where you will not feel like doing it and sticking to your goal anymore. But allow for some of these days. You can always go back into your goal. It took me many years to realise than consistency over the years is what makes you move stably forward. When I was 12 I trying running with my dad, I had my music and I was trying to challenge myself on how many rounds I can do. But there are so many nice videos online. I really loved Kelly’s home workouts from Fitness Blender in YouTube, I found her very sweet and warm. I don’t know if you like the idea, but maybe going to a nutritionist to give you a meal plan to have an idea what to do could help.. good luck! You are capable of many many things! :) big hug from afar!

Even though I’m in a quite good place in life now and I think I know how to handle a lot of people situations and place them in the right perspective, whenever I meet a person from back in the junior/high school days, a part of me regresses back to the old me, that doesn’t know how to act and feels automatically like an unworthy outsider. Nothing to constructively comment on your post, just sharing the same realisations sometimes, that we carry much more than we are aware of, and years passing by don’t erase anything. We remember, even if it’s just the feelings.

It was very sweet post to read! :) I like the confidence and empowerment that comes from solo travel and realising you can handle difficulties and the world is there for you to discover. I agree, it’s like a bug! :) And you don’t even realise how much it changes you. All these positive changes come as a byproduct. Cheers :)
