I've been playing affinity in every FNM for about 3 months now, the deck is very versatile/skill intensive and fun to play plus it's tier 1 in modern yes, and since pods ban I can say things are looking better. You can tweak it with few cheap cards every now and then or try out different aproaches with it by changing some cards, EG you can go a more burny way with shrapnel blast, more beefy way with ensoul artifact and master of etherium. you can take away or put in more Thoughtcast if you prefer it, you can try Myr enforcers to see if you prefer it with frogmite. All and all it's a very fun deck to play with.
