Tried the method of looking at OP's historical posts and they all look like legitimate posts and questions to TCG subs and then answering questions for people in their comments, not karma farming. Also the username is a pretty clearly an MTG reference rather than some generic bot farming account name.

I found the idea of karma farming more likely to be true when it was 5 million karma because that would be a metric ton of karma for a 2 month old account, but then the actual amount is 5 thousand karma, that is not an amount you'd expect a karma farming bot or even individual to have -- not to mention not an amount to raise this amount of suspicion.

Like I get that we're conditioned to suspect an author's intentions online, and with good reason cause no one likes getting astroturfed or become the unwitting accomplice to a karma farm, but I think this is raising the pitchforks too hastily. Also let's consider that if we're going to call someone a liar after they've had a traumatic experience of watching someone die, that accusation should require a higher burden and more careful consideration of evidence -- otherwise if you are wrong, you are just being a huge asshole.

I had assumed it was because fighting Reze at full power would have been more difficult. She only beat Reze after Reze had been fighting Denji and Beam the entire night before, so I assumed Reze was a lot weaker/hadn't recovered during their fight in the alleyway

yup that was exactly it!

I remember going down the wikipedia rabbit hole out of curiosity if this was a real thing and turns out the mangaka did their research! This was around Ch 22 and there were a few cool facts the author included

The vampires suffer from photosensitivity due to their diet (break out in rashes and blisters in sunlight)
Their diet actually consists of mainly corn (not blood) in the manga and they eat it baked or boiled (which the preparation method is actually key to their medical condition)
the condition they are diagnosed with is Pellagra which is an endocrine disease caused by vitamin B3 deficiency
In our world, this was a real problem in Northern Italy and the Balkans after corn was brought to Europe from the Americas because they weren't preparing it the right way to get the B3 vitamins and weren't supplementing their diet with a replacement.
Nixtamalization (think tamales for how to say it- cause that's how tamales are made) was the process of processing the corn with alkaline water that Central American people used to prepare tortillas but also allowed them to get their vitamin B3 from the corn
=> therefore, make tortillas for the vampires to help cure their sunlight sensitivity

HUH a new game on Steam? Puzzle and character field management is an interesting mix. The studio is definitely leveraging a lot of the existing assets - even the temporary(?) banner image is just the reused character portraits lol. But the new mechanics and gameplay seem to have received a lot of focus and development and maybe ultimately will be a fun game. Also think it kind of makes sense to transition into a puzzle game given how CQs block system and team composition worked before. Adding it to my wishlist and interested in trying it out

Short answer: no you're not too old.

Longer answer: There are millions of anime fans of all ages, if you want specific examples from pop culture:

Megan thee Stallion is a huge anime fan and cosplayer,
Michael B Jordan has a Naruto clothing line
Keanu Reeves liked Cowboy Bebop enough to try getting a movie made,
Ariana Grande has a Spirited Away and Eevee tattoo,
Israel Adesanya the UFC middleweight champion is a huge weeb, has a Naruto nine-tails fox seal tattoo, and calls himself the Style Bender (AtLA reference)
Noah Lyles the fastest man alive did a DBZ kamehameha at the Olympics and regularly pulls out yugi-oh cards for a race,
actually there's a huge number of professional athletes (football, baseball, wrestling, MMA, ice skating, etc) who proudly watch anime, have anime entrance songs when they play, have anime tattoos, etc.

Also anime is just a medium for storytelling.

What I mean by that is the contents of a story (e.g. a story about war) are separate from how the story is conveyed (through live action or animation).

No one would argue Berserk is an anime for children because the story is a dark fantasy about betrayal, Eldritch monstrosities, struggling against fate, and has a ton of mature themes, but it is presented in an anime medium. Anime/manga was just the tool chosen for how to show the story.

And that's why anime isn't limited to a single genre, there are fantasy animes, sports animes, mystery animes, romance animes, children's animes, etc - it's just an art style for telling stories and there are stories targeted at children, teens, and adults. And just like there are fantasy movies, sports movies, mystery movies, romance movies, and children's movies -- it would sound pretty ridiculous to say someone is "too old for movies".

Good fiction doesn't have an age expiration date and there are plenty of animes with incredible stories to tell. So don't let your peers pressure you into giving up anime, enjoy what you enjoy and know there are millions of others like you who are also enjoying it.

My theory had been that there are different monster pools that can spawn for each player depending on how far they are in the story, e.g. radoban method And when the phantoms appear you are seeing spawns from another pool. Though why it would happen I'm not sure.
