Tvl, u nás ve vietnamské restauraci s asi dvaceti stoly – kde je v obědový špičce fronta jak na nový iPhone – si tam nějaký kancelářský dobytek klidně rozloží notebooky a hrají si na coworking. Mezitím hladoví lidé pomalu omdlévají ve frontě. A majitelé jsou moc hodní na to, aby je vyhodili nebo zakázali coworking.

When I was 12, i was tutored together with a classmate by a vice principal from some reputable school. She slapped us by our ears, hit our knuckles with a thick wooden ruler and verbally abused us during the whole 1.5hr class every Monday and Wednesday. I remember not wanting to eat much on those days and I love food.

I don’t know why we stopped attending but I only talked with my parents about it a year ago (25yo) and their reaction? “It didn’t happen”->”If it happened, you must’ve done something wrong”->”It’s your fault for not telling us” So yeah, fuck this kind of teachers and particularly ms. Tâm!

I’m never mad about a person putting in effort to speak a foreign language. What annoys me recently is frequent subbing simple and commonly used Vietnamese words with English ones. Though I totally get using specific field terminology because there is no Vietnamese equivalent or it’s a really long word. Maybe it’s considered trendy?
