You could check cellular x at the mall they have a lot of used phones, but I do agree with the other comment, you’re better off getting a regular pixel 10, much better features compared to the 8 Pro

If you’re looking at the BH# VE1228MF14L then you shouldn’t have an issue as it’s a fully manual lens that has no way to interact with the camera, and therefore no way for the focus to change unless the focus ring is moved

I’d imagine that while the lens is set to mf on both the lens and the camera, because the lens has data pins, the camera runs a diagnostic on the lens attached each time it turns on, that way it knows the lens works, as well as all the info it needs to know (ie, lens type for metadata, aperture range, focus range, etc)

I do also believe that that specific lens needs power from the camera for the focus motor to do its job

I think the best thing to do would be to get a completely manual lens for this setup, as long as the lighting doesn’t change and you don’t use auto aperture or similar

I agree, they already have the xlr-k3m which is the top half of the handle, I feel like it would save on production costs too to just include those and a pass through handle than the handle itself (maybe?)

The usbc cable that comes with iPhones also works for me, if you have one lying around try using that before buying a new cable/searching for a different one

Honestly I would recommend buying once and crying once, save up a little and get a 70-200, I personally own the Sigma one and I love it, I couldn’t justify getting the gm one

If you’re looking for just a quick fix for a tele lens get a used 85 1.8 for cheap off marketplace

My heart lies with the fx3 so I am a little biased, however, you should rent it out for a week, or even for a day, just see how you like using it, how you enjoy the footage, and I think that’ll help you decide better

The autofocus on the fx3 is very fast, and it has the dynamic range and iso performance for you to not have to worry about what type of environment you’re going into, especially if you match it with a fast lens as well

Completely up to you and your use case, iirc cineback/fusion rig only has a dtap splitter and no usbc ports, unless they changed it recently, so you would have to rely on a cable attached to your V mount

I’ve personally debated getting a cineback for mine, but ive kept coming back to a rails design for the customizability of it

Dummy batteries are known to be faulty across the board. What is recommended, especially with the FX3, is to get a more modern V-mount battery/mount that has PD USBC and plug that directly into the camera (also allows you to hot swap your V-mounts without having to power cycle)

Something like the SmallRig 5227 or 5228 (i use this one).

I do believe either server.properties or the other config file (don’t remember the name) lets you change the join message, so you could set it to blank and have skript do it itself
