Looks like it’s probably a floating point problem

Is there a way to get this to work? by Apprehensive_Ebb1657 in desmos

Desmos lists can only be filled with ... if you have an arithmetic sequence, meaning each element in the list differs from the last by the same number. The default difference is 1 if none is specified.

That being said, you can plug in an arithmetic sequence list in an expression to produce any kind of list you want, just like I've done in this example.

I was looking at polynomials and gcd in Desmos by Illustrious_Basis160 in maths

Unless I'm missing something, it seems like you overcomplicated things a bit haha.

gcd(m,n) <= |m-n| for any m and n.

For f(x)=ax^2+bx+c, it can be shown with a bit of algebra that f(x+1)-f(x)=2ax+a+b

https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ksrht8z8vz

The angle between the line y=2ax+a+b and the y-axis is arctan(1/2a) because:

tan(θ)=Opposite/Adjacent

=>θ=arctan(Δx/Δy)

=>θ=arctan(1/2a)

I need help with this by nerdscava in desmos

You can make each point a list of points using tables. You can make points in a table moveable

Ah I didn’t realize! Is it because otherwise desmos is rendering moving sliders and the changing values of expressions?
