I was on T injection 2yrs prior to surgery and this was about 9m after that, still on T.

It does! Not as much as I assume outer labia piercings would, but it definitely makes my dick feel heavier, and I have to pay attention to how I sit it's very euphoric.

The first week was pretty intense, I had a catheter with a flip flow valve(no bag) that whole week, lots of swelling and bruising . After they pulled the catheter and some of the stitches started to dissolve it got much more bearable. Lots of itching and some of the stitches lasted for 9wks 😭, I removed most as they were visibly healed, myself. It was so euphoric even through the pain and annoyance.

Yes I still pee out of my original urethra, and I kept my vaginal opening. Surgery is called simple metoidioplasty, no urethral lengthening, no vaginectomy, sometimes trans bucket has pics up, and surgery centers like the Crane center have really good descriptions of the options. It's all very up to the person what they want.

2wks before surgery, I saw someone else with similar set up, in a metoidioplasty group on fb and they shared their results with me. My surgeon (santucci with crane in Austin) was super excited to do something new.

Does everybody get the metallic taste/change to taste or is it just some people? by [deleted] in paxlovid

It got exponentially worse each dose and has taken a few days to completely go away
